Welcome to my site! I am a business professional formerly employed with a Fortune 500 company. I have a passion for art. My love for the arts began at a young age and has been a driving force throughout my life. My cross-cultural education background and prior managerial role with multinational companies offered me extensive contacts with arts and artists in China, Japan, the U.S. Europe and all over the world, hence my studio name - Jiu Zhou Ge (Studio of Nine Continents). As an artist, I have dedicated myself to expanding my skill and understanding of both Chinese and Western art, exploring the path of integrating Chinese forms and style with modern western expressionism. As a collector, my passion for art has driven me to build a lifelong collection that showcases most of the major traditional and modern Chinese artists in a generation, some influential Japanese artists, past and present, as well as some key names in the Western art world. I am always seeking out pieces that resonate with me on a personal level. I firmly believe that art has the power to transcend cultural and linguistic barriers, power to heal this broken world, power to inspire, connect, and transform, and I am thrilled to share my pieces and collections with the discerning eyes through this website. Vision
At this art site, my mission is to share the result of . my life-time pursuit of art and collections. The artwork on display are not for online sale, my vision is to create a space for the appreciation, authentication and celebration of art, a platform for art lovers and collectors to explore and engage with works from China, Japan, the U.S., Europe and around the world. I would, however, appreciate any opportunity to engage with public or private art institutions and research groups, to uncover hidden gems of art, and to connect with professional experts with a discerning eye. I also welcome any institutional request for public display, subject to expert authentication. My hope is that by sharing my collection and creations, I can connect with others through the universal language of art. Through this site, I strive to foster a community of individuals who share a passion for art and a deep appreciation for its many forms and expressions
